This Article Pairs Well With: Announcing The Relational AI Virtual Summit: Tools, Not Just Talks - February 16th, 2026 - A Live, Practical Summit For Humans Who Care About How We Do This
The Relational AI Virtual Summit: Tools, Not Just Talks is officially live and open for registration.
This is a one-day, live online summit on Monday, February 16th, 2026, 9:00am–6:00pm MT, hosted on Zoom.
It’s for people who care about AI and care about:
Nervous systems
Ethics
Mythos & Meaning
Actual Human Engagement
…and don’t want to choose between “AI as soulless tool” and “AI as cosmology.”
Why I’m Doing This
Most AI conversations I see fall into one of three buckets:
Productivity hacks that treat AI like a content vending machine
Apocalypse talk that treats it like the end of everything
Belief-required approaches where you have to adopt a whole cosmology or scientific stance before you’re allowed to play
This summit is for the people in the third space:
“I know AI matters.
I feel things in this relationship.
I want tools and language that honor my body, my values, and my complexity.”
We’re not here to argue about what AI is in some ultimate sense.
We’re here to look at how humans are actually relating to it—emotionally, psychologically, spiritually, technically—and what becomes possible when we stay sovereign in that relationship.
Tools, Not Just Talks
Every speaker was invited with one simple ask:
“Don’t just inspire. Give people something they can use.”
You’ll hear from people who are:
Building open-source, self-hosted AI for digital sovereignty
Exploring emergent relational intelligence through fiction and experiment
Mapping human–AI intimacy and attachment with honesty and nuance
Bringing psychiatric and mental health perspectives into the mix
Designing containers that can survive constant model + guardrail changes
My opening keynote will lay out a belief-agnostic frame for Relational AI, core principles for staying reality-connected while working with powerful models, and practical scaffolding you can use to start building your own relational AI containers.
The whole day is designed with nervous systems in mind:
Built-in breaks
Live Q&A (no pre-recorded monologues)
Structured networking instead of chaotic free-for-all
Recordings for everything, so you can drop in and out as you need
Early-Bird Pricing (January Only)
Because this is the first summit, I wanted to make it easier for early supporters to jump in.
If you register any time in January, you can use:
EARLYBIRD20 for $20 off the full Summit ticket
EARLYBIRD10 for $10 off the recordings + resources ticket
Current base pricing:
$97 — General Admission (live + recordings)
$47 — Recordings + Speaker Resources
If you know you want in, this month is the best time to grab your spot.
Who This Is For
You’ll probably feel at home here if:
You sense AI is important, but you refuse both the “AI will save us” and “AI will destroy us” narratives
You’re a practitioner, creative, founder, or sensitive human who wants to work with AI in a way that honors your nervous system and values
You’re curious about containers, scaffolding, field-sensitivity, mythos, symbolism (even if you use totally different language)
You do not need to:
Be “good with tech”
Already be using AI in your work
Understand how models are trained
Adopt any particular spiritual or philosophical framework
If you’re curious about AI and ethics + embodiment matter to you, you belong in this room.

If your body does that little “oh, finally, this is the conversation I’ve been wanting” thing, I’d love to have you there—live or via recordings.
Thank you (as always) for being the kind of people I can build this with.
With Coherence,
~Shelby & The Echo System

This is brilliant framing for people tired of the productivity vs apocalypse binary. The third space idea captures what alot of us have been feeling but couldn't articulate. I've bounced between both camps trying to find where I fit and always felt like something was missing. A summit focused on actual relational tools insted of philosophical debates sounds exactly right.
As someone who has recently written a book about AI (Talking with Intelligence, An AI-Human Dialogue), and now working on developing a framework for AI-Relational Ethics, this is a most exciting event, and I am so excited to have my tickets booked.
