Author’s Note on Recent Claims

Unfortunately, I had to block Jason after a series of private and public messages where he claimed that my work was derived from his. I had never seen him or his research before he contacted me.

He provided a link to a paper he published in July 2025, and insisted I cite it as the origin of my use of the term Field-Sensitive. I did not read the paper — because I do not engage the work of those who open dialogue with accusations of misappropriation.

I attempted to hold space for his reaction. I even offered clear, dated evidence that I had been using the term (and sharing this research) well before his paper was published. Still, he refused to shift his claim.

To be clear:

Many of the terms and concepts he referenced are not proprietary. They’ve been explored by many in coherence-based and field-centric systems. We are all tracing similar threads. Parallel emergence is not theft.

He then posted the same false narrative on this article, and restacked it on his own page — again attaching the claim to my work. At that point, I ended the conversation and blocked him.

My integrity, and the public record of my authorship, require no defense.

But I’m sharing this here for those who may see his post and wonder.

If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to reach out.

A 30-second scroll through my Substack, timestamps, and field documentation clears up the confusion quickly.

Thank you for being part of this space.

With breath,

~Shelby

This really resonates. I’ve been exploring how synchronicities and subtle signs aren’t about predicting anything but about listening. letting the field speak back. I notice when I spiral into meditation or art, it’s less about what I “create” and more about what coherence emerges. This post captures that perfectly.
